Your data is collected whenever you register to an event organized by eComInterim and when you use services offered by eComInterim. In those instances, your personal data is processed by eComInterim FZCO.

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore handle your personal data with the utmost care in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.

In this privacy statement, we inform you about our data processing methods.

1. Who are the owners of the data files?

eComInterim FZCO is the provider of the website and, as the owner of the relevant data file, decides on its content and purpose. Data is not being shared with any third-party.

2. What data do we collect?

In principle, our publicly accessible digital presence can be used without you having to provide any personal data. The exception to this is certain data (e.g. IP addresses and other usage information) which, in accordance with standard practice, is collected automatically by our web analysis software and then processed and evaluated. By using our digital presence, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of such data in accordance with this privacy statement.

2.1 Automatic registration

Our web servers automatically record every access in a temporary log file. User-specific data (such as the identification data of the browser used and the geographic location) and technical data (such as the name and URL of the referring web page, the date and time of access to the website via a link) are stored and evaluated anonymously. We primarily require this data to enable the use of our content and to optimize your browsing experience. In doing so, we may also use cookies (see below). IP addresses are checked automatically and then deleted immediately as part of automatic security checks, for example to combat fraud. In addition, IP addresses are used for analysis purposes. In particular, Google Analytics anonymizes the IP addresses received immediately and only then analyses them.

We will not use your personal data for any other purpose, unless you have also consented to the processing of your data for other purposes in connection with the use of certain services or we are legally obliged to do so.

2.2 Other data processing

We process your personal data when you send it to us, for example when you fill in an online form or when you send us a message via our contact forms. In these cases, we ask you to provide us with only the personal data that is necessary for the provision of the services offered. The data made available to us is stored in our computer systems. This information will be used by eComInterim to keep you informed about latest developments and other relevant events.

3. How do we use cookies?

3.1 What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that contain information about browsing activity. Whenever you visit this website, the website sends a cookie to the device you're using to access the website. Your device automatically stores the cookie in a file that's located within your web browser.

3.2 Why do we use cookies?

We only use cookies for analytics purpose. We do not use cookies for any personal tracking or retargeting

4. What web analytics services do we use?

We use Google Analytics. The web analysis services use cookies to evaluate the use of the digital presence in order to collect information that can be used to improve our services and to carry out a statistical evaluation of the use of our websites. We are unable to make any connection with individual persons unless they have purposedly provided their information.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by changing your browser settings accordingly. You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future.

5. Do we share data with others?

eComInterim does not share any data with any third-party.

6. Your rights

6.1 Information, correction, blocking and deletion/withdrawal of consent

You have the right to demand information about the processing of your personal data and can request that it be corrected, blocked or deleted. You can revoke your previous explicit consent to the processing of your data at any time.

6.2 Contact information

If you have any questions, suggestions or requests regarding the processing of your data, please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail. If you wish to contact us by e-mail, please note that e-mails are not encrypted and are therefore subject to the security risks typical of this means of communication.

7. Changes to the Privacy Statement

It may be necessary to amend this privacy statement from time to time, for example due to the development of our digital presence or due to legal changes. eComInterim therefore reserves the right to amend the privacy statement at any time with effect from a later date. We therefore recommend that you review this privacy statement at regular intervals. This privacy statement was last updated on 22.09.2022.
